Customer Success Stories: Before and After Pre-sale Improvements

Homeowners love Property Credit! Christina from Melbourne contacted us about funding some of her renovation costs so she could get her property ready for sale. Not only did she absolutely transform her property, but we were able to fund her property advertising expenses as well. We chat with Christina about her experience with Property Credit.

What brought you to Property Credit initially?

I’m a 30-year-old new homeowner who sold her first investment property in Toorak, Melbourne. Living in Melbourne CBD, housing is expensive and renovating and selling a house is even more expensive given current skilled labour and material shortages. I needed help with easing my cash-flow so that I could make the renovations I needed to, as well as provide funds for vendor paid advertising upon selling.

How did you find the application process?

Very easy. Took less than 10 minutes and the application was clear with what I needed to provide. The customer support team were very quick to respond and were able to help me with any questions.

What has our service done for you?

Being in an apartment I had several special levies raised to improve the building and shared spaces such as new carpet, laundries, interior painting and new windows as the building was from the 1970s. This, combined with rates, utilities, body corporate and insurance made it difficult to find the cash to prioritise renovations and would have extended the renovation duration significantly.

Anything else you’d like to share about your experience with Property Credit?

I didn’t know services like this existed and even my agent was impressed by how quickly the funds came through and how professional the team was. It was also cheaper to use Property Credit than going through my bank or other small loan providers.
