Simpler bank payments and the flexibility to split one request across payment methods.
For New Zealand agencies, two payment options help customers choose how to pay when they open a Property Credit Payment Request.
Customers can choose Pay with your bank in the Payment Gateway to make a bank payment through Akahu, with support for ANZ, ASB, BNZ and Westpac.
This removes the manual step of copying payment details and setting up a separate bank transfer. It also helps support more reliable reconciliation, making it easier to match payments accurately.

How it works
Good to know: A processing fee applies to Pay with your bank.
When you enable Split Payment, your customer can divide a Payment Request across different payment methods.
For example, a NZ$3,000 request could be paid with NZ$1,000 by card and NZ$2,000 by bank transfer. You send one request for the full amount; the customer chooses how to divide the payment.

How it works
Good to know: The customer controls the split once you make the option available. The request remains one total amount to be paid across the chosen methods.
