Why Agents Choose Property Credit — LJ Hooker Property Hub

Real estate agents love Property Credit! We chat with Benita Rigby of LJ Hooker Property Hub about her experience with Property Credit.

Why did you decide to use Property Credit?

Benita: We decided to move to Property Credit as an agency when we saw how easy it was for our vendors to apply for larger loans they needed to complete pre-sale improvements. Property Credit would regularly check in with our administration team and make sure we were across the individual campaigns as they would come in. At the time we were having issues on a weekly basis with our third-party marketing company, and we’d just automatically switch that particular vendor over to Property Credit when issues would arise. It wasn’t long before we made the switch to Property Credit full time. When we approached them about potentially switching over all agents, they were extremely helpful and sat down with both management and the sales support team to provide extensive training.

The reason we chose Property Credit in the end was that they were so easy to work with. If we had any questions at all, the PC team would answer our calls/emails almost immediately which was unheard of with our previous marketing company.

They tailor-suited their service to work with how our agency does things (which is a bit different to other agencies). In other words, they were very flexible and patient with us and I can’t boast about their communication enough.

What do you like about Property Credit now that you’ve used the service?

B: What we like about Property Credit the most is their flexibility to work with each individual agency’s needs and their above and beyond approach to everything. They are very hands-on compared to companies we’ve used in the past and they have so many helpful options for our vendors when they decide to sell. They don’t act like a typical loan company by harassing our vendors for payment, which is very important to us because a third-party marketing company reflects on our service and our agency as a whole. Their customer service is faultless, and they are some of the most professional and kind people I’ve had the opportunity to work with.

You’ve utilised other funding solutions before, how do you find working with Property Credit? What have our services offered you and your clients?

B: Property Credit differ in a few ways from other funding companies. They offer friendliness and efficiency in their customer service and treat our vendors with respect. They don’t require breakdowns of invoices and marketing campaigns in order to fund us/the vendor. They are easy to reach and they work directly with solicitors when they need to recover larger loans as they have their own legal team. They offer our vendors a range of services and are more than happy to help them if they have additional questions. They also take our feedback on board and are constantly improving their system.

What would you say are some of the main challenges clients face when selling their properties?

B: The reason we offer our vendors a pay-later solution is that some of the time vendors don’t have the funds upfront to cover their marketing or pre-sale improvement fees.

What potential difference can pre-sale renovations make to the sale of a property? Just how important is presentation?

B: Pre-sale improvements can add value to the home when it comes time to selling. They also help the vendor present the property in its best light and to its full potential.

Would you recommend Property Credit to property owners looking at taking some of the financial stress out of the selling process?

B: We cannot recommend Property Credit enough to our vendors when they are looking at taking financial stress out of the selling process. They offer a fixed fee to clients which is really helpful when they need to figure out how much they will owe come settlement time and the application process if quick and simple. We work with Property Credit because we know we can rely on them to look after our vendors and treat them with both respect and professionalism.
